Information

INFORMATION: The Eno-Haw Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan establishes a long-term regional strategy to reduce risk from natural hazards and enhance community resilience. Periodic amendments ensure the plan remains current and responsive to identified risks and emerging priorities.

Amendment One incorporates Action SP-3 into the Town’s Mitigation Action Plan, advancing evaluation and implementation of measures along the Morgan Creek corridor to reduce flood risk and strengthen infrastructure resilience. This action aligns with broader watershed management, climate adaptation, and risk reduction objectives.

Adoption of this amendment maintains consistency with regional mitigation planning efforts and positions the Town to remain eligible for state and federal hazard mitigation funding.

The attached resolution formally adopts Amendment One and affirms the Town’s commitment to integrating its elements into future plan updates.
