Formal adoption institutionalizes these frameworks within Town policy, ensuring consistency in emergency operations, alignment with state and federal partners, and eligibility for federal preparedness assistance. Adoption also affirms the Town’s commitment to integrating NIMS and ICS into planning, training, exercises, and operational response.
The attached resolution establishes NIMS and ICS as the Town’s official doctrine for incident management and authorizes administrative actions necessary to maintain compliance.
