Information

INFORMATION: The applicant/property owner, Harris Teeter, has requested an extension for the Special Use Permit-A (SUP-A) for Phase 1 of the Lloyd Farm development.  The SUP-A is currently scheduled to expire on October 24, 2025.  The request, if granted, would extend the permit until October 24, 2027.

The Town Council originally granted the Special Use Permit-A on October 22nd, 2019. Town Council subsequently has granted two permit extensions (in 2021 and 2023). If granted, this will be the third permit extension for the project. The permit allows for the construction of the Lloyd Farm, Phase 1, which includes a Harris Teeter grocery store, out buildings and related infrastructure (i.e roads, sidewalks etc.).
