Information
INFORMATION: Council awarded a contract with Griffin & Strong PC to perform a disparity study as required for the Town to establish a Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) program on March 25, 2023. The contract was finalized on July 12, 2023 and work began on the study.
Griffin & Strong PC staff will provide a presentation of their finds and recommendations. A final copy of the Disparity Study is attached. As staff begin to implement the study recommendations, individual elements along with a REAL Lense will be brought back to Council for approval as needed.

Fiscal and Staff Impact
FISCAL IMPACT: Minimal. Staff anticipate that many of the recommendations will primarily be policy changes and have little financial impact to implement.

RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommend the Council receive the presentation and the Disparity Study.
