Council Direction Statement

The Council expressed an intent last year to move forward with enforcing the 2-hour parking limit in public parking and to explore paid parking.

Information

INFORMATION: In April 2023, the Town Council held a work session to discuss public parking and expressed an intent to move forward with Staff enforcing the 2-hour parking requirement already in the Town Code. The Council also expressed an interest in exploring paid parking and desired options for moving forward with paid parking.

Staff will provide a presentation including a status update on public parking enforcement and will provide some options for paid public parking should this be of interest to the Council. Policy direction or feedback from Council is sought by Staff to best determine how to move forward with enforcement solutions.
