PURPOSE: The Mayor and Board of Aldermen are requested to consider making an appointment to one of the Town's seats on the OWASA Board of Directors.

INFORMATION: The Town of Carrboro has two seats on the Orange Water and Sewer Authority Board of Directors. Currently, Steve Dear and Quinton Harper are serving as Carrboro's representatives. Steve Dear's term expires on June 30, 2015 and he has announced that he will not seek reappointment due to relocation. Appointments to full terms are for three years. Applications were received from Barbara Foushee and Robert Morgan. Please note that Barbara Foushee has indicated that she will resign from the Human Services Advisory Committee if appointed to the OWASA Board of Directors.

RECOMMENDATION:r Staff recommends that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen consider the applications and adopt the attached resolution making an appointment to the OWASA Board of Directors.
