Amendment to the Capital Project Ordinance for the Homestead-Chapel Hill High School Multi-Use Path project.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is for the Board of Aldermen to consider approving an amendment to the capital project ordinance for Homestead Road-Chapel Hill High School Multi-Use Path to increase funding for construction engineering.

INFORMATION: Approximately $10,400 in additional funds are needed to cover construction engineering; the contract costs exceed the anticipated expense for this aspect of the project. An amended Capital Improvement Project Ordinance that would accomplish this increase is provided as Attachment A.
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: The addition of $10,400 would increase the total amount appropriated for this project to $1,253,130.
RECOMMENDATION:r Staff recommends that the Board of Aldermen approve the amended Capital Project Ordinance provided as Attachment A
