Request to Make Appointments to the Greenways Commission
PURPOSE: The purpose of this agenda item is for the Board of Aldermen to make appointment(s) to the Greenways Commission.

INFORMATION: The Greenways Commission currently has two expiring term seats eligible for appointment. Charlie Hileman is the current chair of the Greenways Commission and provided the chair forms for the Board’s review.
Mary Sonis and Rob Crook have expiring terms and submitted applications for reappointment.
The attached resolution is provided to allow the Board to make appointments to the Greenways Commission.
Applications were received from: Aaron Frank, Karen Porter, Mary Sonis, Rob Crook and David Mabe.
Ballots will be provided for the Board of Aldermen on Tuesday night. After the votes are tallied, a motion to appoint the candidates with the highest number of ballot votes should be made for official action.

RECOMMENDATION:r It is recommended that the Mayor and Board discuss the applicants and adopt the attached resolution.
