Consideration of an Affordable Housing Funding Request for Critical Home Repairs
PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is for the Board to consider approving a request for home repair funds from Habitat for Humanity of Orange County.

INFORMATION: Habitat for Humanity of Orange County is requesting a grant of $7,800 to be used for a critical repair at the home of 300 Lloyd Street #C in Carrboro. The repair to be performed includes:
• Replacing the roof
The complete request for funding can be found in Attachment A.
Town staff has evaluated this request and determined that it meets all eligibility analysis criteria.
A full analysis of eligibility can be found in Attachment B.
If the Board chooses to fund this request, it may do so by passing the resolution in Attachment C.
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: Habitat for Humanity is requesting a grant of $7,800 to come out of the Affordable Housing Fund.
RECOMMENDATION:r Staff recommends the Board consider approving the resolution in Attachment C.
