INFORMATION: Following the Board of Aldermen approving the R-10 conditional rezoning of the subject properties, the developer has begun preparing a Conditional Use Permit application for the project. While doing so, staff met with the applicant and discussed their plans for the affordable housing component for the project. As the applicant desires to only include size-limited units in the project, in accordance with LUO Section 15-188, it is necessary to participate in an affordable housing review meeting with the Board of Aldermen in accordance with LUO Section 15-54.1(e). The Board is asked to refer the project to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee for discussion prior to discussing the project with the applicant. If the Board does refer the project, it will be included on the Wednesday, September 19, 2018 AHAC agenda, then scheduled for a subsequent Board of Aldermen meeting.
