INFORMATION: The purpose of this item is to provide the Board with a report on the Community Climate Action Plan (CCAP) modules project and request approval to move forward with project implementation. Progress on the CCAP has been ongoing since the Board’s adoption of the plan on January 24, 2017. (A complete copy of the CCAP may be found at: http://www.townofcarrboro.org/DocumentCenter/View/4116/Community-Climate-Action-Plan).
This update includes a summary report (Attachment B) followed by a recommendation from the Environmental Advisory Board (Attachment C).
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: There is no fiscal or staff impact related to this item.
RECOMMENDATION:r Staff recommends the Town Council consider the attached resolution to receive the report on the Community Climate Action Plan modules project and approve implementation of this initiative.
