PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is for the Town Council to review the outreach plan for the Comprehensive Planning effort.

INFORMATION: The Town has entered into a contract with Teska Associates, Inc., for professional services from their staff and subconsultants, The Center for Neighborhood Technology and Lockamy Consulting Services, to assist with the completion of a Townwide comprehensive plan. A draft plan of the outreach for this effort is attached, as is a project timeline (Attachments A and B). An initial project webpage is under construction, with some information available at <http://www.townofcarrboro.org/2389/Town-of-Carrboro-Comprehensive-Plan>.
