Mural Update - Black Lives Matter installation at the Carrboro Century Center

A report on follow-up to instructions from the Town Council discussion on August 18th was provided on October 6th and a resolution adopted. On October 13th, staff was instructed to examine several locations on the Century Center for a Black Lives Matter mural, instead of locating this mural at Town Hall.
Five locations on the west and south elevations of the Century Center were noted. Information about the viewshed for each location is included in Attachments B and C, noting as follows: The west facing fa?ade is viewable from #2 (orange) and #1 (blue). The south facing fa?ade is viewable from the areas within #3 (red) and #4 (green). There is a tree that splits the south view.
Average daily vehicular traffic, and pedestrian and bicycle counts are included in Attachments D and E.
Questions for the Council to consider are listed below:
1. What is the location for the Black Lives Matter mural on the Century Center? Illustrations of possible installations are included in Attachment B.
