PURPOSE:   The purpose of this item is to schedule the public hearing for a commercial building SUP-A for April 26th, 2022.

INFORMATION:  Beacon Properties Group has submitted an application for a Special Use Permit-A (SUP-A) for a new commercial building located at 201 North Greensboro Street and 100 Center Street (Attachment B).

 

The applicant intends to construct a new three (3) story commercial building that will be approximately 16,186 square feet in size.

 

The subject properties are zoned B1-C and B2 with the NPD (Neighborhood Preservation District) overlay district and the total acre for both lots is .53 acres (23,211sf) and is listed on

the Orange County Parcel Identification Numbers 9778-86-4587 and 9778-86-2555.

 

A resolution setting a public hearing for April 26, 2022 is included as Attachment A.  

 

FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT:   None associated with setting the hearing. The applicant has paid the applicable application fees.  

 

RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the Town Council adopt the resolution setting the public hearing for April 26th, 2022.
