PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is to recognize and appropriate $455 in contributions made to the Fire Department.

INFORMATION: The Fire Department received two donations after helping two families. Both parties were adamant in making the donation to the Fire Department to express their appreciation. Per the donor’s requests, these donations are to be used to help the department purchase needed emergency medical equipment.
These contributions are to be used for the Fire Department and may not be used for any other purpose, unless authorized in writing by the donors.
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: These contributions are restricted to the purpose(s) stated by the donors.
RECOMMENDATION:r Staff recommends that the Town Council approve the attached resolution accepting these donations and appropriating them for use by the Fire Department (Attachment A).
