Request to Make Appointments to the Environmental Advisory Board
PURPOSE: The purpose of this agenda item is for the Board of Aldermen to make appointment(s) to the Environmental Advisory Board.

INFORMATION: The Environmental Advisory Board currently has two expiring term seats eligible for appointment. Bruce Sinclair is the current chair of the Environmental Advisory Board and provided the forms for the Board’s review. Bruce Sinclair and Jeanette O’Connor have expiring terms and submitted applications for reappointment. Applications were received from: Katherine Baer, Jeanette O’Connor, Linda Bowerman, Jeremy Marzoula and Bruce Sinclair.
Bruce Sinclair has recommended that he and Jeanette O’Connor be reappointed to the commission noting that if Mr. Sinclair is not selected for reappointment, he then recommends that Mr. Marzoula and Ms. O’Connor be appointed by the Board of Aldermen.
The attached resolution is provided to allow the Board to make appointments to the Environmental Advisory Board.
Ballots will be provided for the Board of Aldermen on Tuesday night. After the votes are tallied, a motion to appoint the candidates with the highest number of ballot votes should be made for official action.

RECOMMENDATION:r It is recommended that the Mayor and Board discuss the applicants and adopt the attached resolution.
